1. Scope & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern all purchases, site interactions, and custom equipment orders placed through Prime Wheelchairs (operated by Ottobock SE & Co. KGaA).

By accessing our storefront, interacting with our clinical configurators, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these legal terms and conditions without reservation.

2. Medical Equipment Specifications & Custom Orders

Prime Wheelchairs manufactures both standardized active frame models and fully custom rigid power-assist configurations:

• Fitting Precision: Custom fitting options (e.g., seat width, backrest angle, camber degree) are built strictly to dimensions supplied by the client or prescribing clinician during checkout.
• Component Availability: We reserve the right to replace non-critical sub-components with equivalent or superior medical-grade alternatives if supply chain variations occur.

3. Pricing, Taxes & Order Acceptance

All pricing is displayed in transparent commercial currencies with taxes and shipping options clearly defined before checkout execution:

4. Order Cancellations & Modifications

Standard orders may be canceled within 12 hours of placement without penalty. Once warehouse picking or custom frame welding has commenced, cancellation requests are governed by our standard Return Policy.

Custom active rigid frames engineered to individual anatomical measurements cannot be canceled once fabrication is in progress.

5. Frame Warranty & Service Coverage

All active wheelchair frames and power-assist units carry comprehensive manufacturer warranty protection against structural defects:

• Structural Frame Warranty: 2-year limited warranty covering structural welds and main chassis integrity.
• Wearable Components: Tires, inner tubes, quick-release pushpins, and upholstery carry a 90-day limited warranty against manufacturing flaws.

6. Limitation of Liability

Prime Wheelchairs and Ottobock SE & Co. KGaA shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from improper user assembly, unauthorized third-party modifications, or usage exceeding maximum payload limits specified in equipment manuals.

7. Governing Law & Commercial Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany and applicable European Union commercial directives. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any dispute arising from commercial transactions is Göttingen, Germany.
