Despite supporting users up to 180kg (28.5 stone), the FortisHD weighs just 28kg, making it one of the lightest heavy-duty folding electric wheelchairs in its class. Driven by two powerful 350W motors, the chair offers smooth, confident performance indoors and outdoors. Air-filled tyres and all-round suspension absorb bumps and uneven surfaces, delivering a stable and comfortable ride across a variety of terrains.

 

Extended Range with Smart Dual Battery System

The FortisHD comes with two lithium batteries, providing an impressive range of up to 26 miles on a full charge. For added flexibility, the chair can also operate using a single battery, giving up to 13 miles of travel when required. This allows you to use them in rotation for no downtime. 

 

The front-loading, quick-release battery system is designed for maximum convenience. Batteries can be removed in seconds with no fiddly cables, are easily accessible even when the chair is folded, and crucially without the user needing to bend down – ideal for everyday charging and travel.

 

Extra Room for All-Day Comfort

Comfort is enhanced with a wider 51cm seat and 56cm armrest width, providing additional space and support without compromising the chair’s compact, folding footprint. This makes the FortisHD an excellent choice for users who need more room than standard powerchairs can offer.
